I went to Myeongdong on New Year’s Eve — I’ve been going to that shopping heaven almost everyday since I started Kpopmall! On my way back, I took the bus to Jonggak and transferred to subway line 1 (blue). I boarded the second car so I had to walk inside to get to the last car (tenth), which is nearest our exit in Dongmyo station. I got stuck inside car number 5 and I thought I was in the twilight zone!
The fifth car was packed full of people that I couldn’t even take a decent picture. The car is called 경기ë„ì² ì´ë™ë¯¼ì›ì‹¤ (Gyeonggido’s Moving Civil Service) and it is specially designed with a refrigerated display case, automated machine for civil records, a mini-library, counseling booths, cellphone charging device and of course, brochures!
The lady manning the food section started giving out candies to passengers when a woman bought her goodies.
Low cellphone battery? No problemo! You could even try the two Galaxy Tabs on display. What? No iphone?!
I couldn’t get nicer pictures. Hopefully, I could get to ride this train again. In case you visit Seoul and use subway line 1, why not ride the fifth car and if you’re lucky you could get to ride this one ;p
